Spider Web Gardens
About Us
Spider
Web Gardens has been a family owned and operated business since 1937.
The 200-acre farm, located on the north side of Lake Winnipesaukee, can be found on a quiet side road in the charming village of Center Tuftonboro, NH. Close to Wolfeboro, 'The Oldest Summer Resort in America', Spider Web Gardens caters to a wide variety of clientele.
The
business' current owner- William L. Stockman- Bill to everyone- is an energetic
and knowledgable person. Having worked on the farm for his grandfather- the
founder of the business- for many years as a child, Bill found he had farming
in his soul. Acquiring a Plant Science degree from the Thompson School at UNH,
Bill set about to learn the business as an apprentice to his grandfather and
eventually bought the business from him.
Over many years of his ownership, Bill has spent considerable time in improving
and expanding the business. Currently the farm boasts 16 greenhouses, 2 acres
of field grown trees, shrubs and perennials, and 5 acres devoted to cut
flower and vegetable programs.
