Vegetables

In the spring Bill digs parsnips daily. We offer Cut-your-own fresh greens.

We grow many varieties of vegetables.

Truckload of vegetables headed for the Wolfeboro Farmer's Market.

Exciting things are happening in the Vegetable department and with vegetables and fruits throughout New Hampshire and the United States. People are looking for local, fresh produce. We are again having our vegetable CSA and are busy planning to have both farm stands fully stocked; we also plan to attend at least one Farmer's Markets in the area.
We will continue to attend the weekly farmer’s market Thursdays in Wolfeboro, 12:30 to 4:30
We continue to grow hardy veggie starter plants for those of you with gardens at home.  Some new varieties will be available along with tried and true favorites.  We will also be carrying container varieties for those with limited space.
For field production we plant frequently through out the season to ensure a continuous supply of fresh, local vegetables.   We hire many local youth to work in the fields; some chores include hoeing, picking and washing vegetables, hoeing, watering and learning various jobs in some of our other departments.

Community Supported Agriculture; CSA
Due to overwhelming interest we have opened the vegetable CSA for this growing season. Our 2011 CSA vegetable season began harvesting produce the second week of July and went through the middle of October.  Members will received 14 weeks of fresh produce over this period. Pick ups were Mondays and Fridays, based on customer preference.

CSA for cut flowers was available for $100.00/share.  Cut your own flowers 15 times throughout the season from the many varieties in the cut flower garden up to 20 stems per visit.  For a sign-up sheet, please click Here.
